7th Class of Yoatzot Halacha Certified


Rav Baruch GigiThe certification and graduation of Nishmat’s Keren Ariel Yoatzot Halacha (Women Consultants in Jewish Law) was celebrated with a keynote address by Rabbi Baruch Gigi, Rosh Yeshivat Har Etzion. 

"Today is a holiday for all Am Yisrael,” said Rabbi Gigi. “Hashem places a ladder before us at historic moments and the question is whether we choose to climb it….Nishmat has chosen to climb it with the undertaking of Yoatzot Halacha. There is no going down."

Of the 70 Yoatzot who have completed Nishmat’s course, 66 live and work in Israel and four in North America.
