Postponing from Friday to Saturday night
I think I was taught that if you could be toivel on Fri night but do not, you are not allowed to go Motzai Shabbos but must wait til Sunday. I can't locate anything here to match my recollection, and wonder if I remember incorrectly.
Thank you.
Dear questioner,
Thank you for your question.
You are correct that ideally a woman who could have immersed on a Friday night, but did not do so due to negligence, should not immerse on Motzaei Shabbat. The reasoning has to do with the ideal timing of mikveh preparations.
However, the widespread custom today is to permit immersion on Motzaei Shabbat in ALL cases.
