Bedikot between onot perishah

hi. i have a question concerning the vestos. if a woman has an interval of ex. 45 days and she kept the vest chodesh and 30-31is there anything else that must be done before she reaches the interval vest? someone told me something about making a bedika everytime before intercourse. is this correct? and also, once she reached day 45 if she did not get her period i heard the same thing applies. i was never taught this by my kallah teacher. is it a chumra or perhaps a misinterpretation of some sort? what must be done?
thank you for your time and answer!

Dear questioner,

Thank you for your question.

A woman who menstruated at a longer interval is not required to perform any bedikot between the onah beinonit and yom hachodesh and her interval day, nor is she required to perform bedikot after her interval day has passed.

A woman who has menstruated three times in succession at an interval greater than thirty-one days is not required to observe yom hachodesh. Some authorities allow her to omit onah beinonit as well.

There are minority opinions that advocate more bedikot in some of these cases.
