Early bedikah as hefsek
I did a Bedikah about half an hour before sunset. It was clean, and I was waiting until it was time to do the Hefsek and Moch. I realzed about 40 minutes after sunset that I had forgotten to do the Hefsek. I did another Bedikah then and it was totally clean. Can I still begin counting the 7 days even though I forgot the Hefsek?
Thank you!
Dear questioner,
Thank you for your question.
The bedikah you did before sunset counts as a valid hefsek. As long as it was clean and you saw no blood after that bedikah, you can begin counting the seven clean days.
