Postpartum depression

HI,
I have a friend who has serious post partum anxiety. She's been to her family practitioner and he prescribed for her an anti depressant. She'd like to see a psychiatrist and I was wondering if you have someone that you have a connection with that is very good or that specializes in post partum issues.

A referral would depend on your friend's location. Her family practitioner may be able to refer her. We recommend that you or she contact the Israeli organization Nitza for guidance and support.  Nitza is entirely focused on helping women through post-partum depression and anxiety: www.nitza.org
