Pouring wine at seder
If I'm a niddah on pesach, am I not allowed to pour wine for my husband? Given that we will be sitting next to each other, it would be really obvious that I'm a niddah if I'm not pouring for him.
Thanks!
Dear questioner,
Thank you for your question.
Even on Pesach, a woman in niddah should not pour wine for her husband nor he for her. Assuming that someone else will be sitting next to your husband on his other side, he could ask that person to pour for him. If you both casually ask those sitting next to you, it should not be too awkward. You could also make an effort to place wine on the far side of both you and your husband to facilitate this approach.
