Bath before hefsek in nine days

I usually take a bath on the morning of the day I plan to do a hefsek tahara. I believe that it helps me to get a clean hefsek later that day. Is this allowed during the 9 days?
We are trying to conceive, so getting to the mikve on time is extra important.
Thanks:

Dear questioner,

Thank you for your question.

Since the bath you take prior to performing your hefsek taharah is not for the sake of pleasure, there is room to permit it.  It would be preferable to bathe in lukewarm water and to keep both the water level and your time in the bath to the minimum you think necessary to help you get a timely hefsek taharah.
