Question:I had a clean hefsek taharah yesterday. This morning I did a bedikah for my first clean day. The cloth came out a beige color and I just wanted to know if I'm considered clean?
If you are sure that the beige color had no tinge of red (that would include orange or reddish brown), then it was acceptable and you can continue counting the seven clean days. Please note that vaginal secretions often are not completely colorless.
If the color has a tinge of any of the above mentioned colors, or if you are not sure, it needs to be evaluated by a halachic authority.
