Pregnancy

A pregnant woman is called a meuberet. She is considered mesuleket damim (free of bleeding), and is not required to observe onot perishah (times of separation) in anticipation of her menses (see Anticipation of Menses during Pregnancy). The halachic status of pregnancy is not necessarily identical to the medical condition. According to many authorities, the halachic status applies only after 90 days have passed since conception. (The date of conception is not to be confused with the medical convention of counting from the last period, a difference of about 14 days).
