Coming Fall 2017!
Join Nishmat in teaching kallot with confidence!
In this 15-session live webinar we will study and discuss both the halachic and hashkafic content of Taharat HaMishpacha including women's health topics, approaches to the marriage relationship, and practical techniques for teaching kallot these fundamentals and details.
Yoetzet Halacha Shoshana Samuels will present and moderate the course. We will also have a few special guest speakers along the way: Rachel Hercman, a psychotherapist who focuses on relationships, body image and sexuality, will broaden our understanding of these topics and our role in conveying these elements to kallot as kallah teachers, Nishmat's Rabbi Auman will provide insights and a Q&A session, and Rabbi Jeremy Stern of ORA will speak to us about get-refusal as a form of abuse, the tremendous importance of "our couples" signing the halachic prenup in thwarting that possibility, and how you can best help them to do so.
To maximize everyone's benefit, we'll have short exercises before and after our sessions. These will include text studies, videos, and preparation/review questions. Participation in all of the sessions and these exercises is expected from women who wish to become certified Nishmat Kallah Teachers.
We look forward to interactive sessions complete with your participation which will make this an awesome learning experience!
