Yoatzot Halacha Fertility Counselors

Yoatzot Halacha Fertility Counselors are available for consultations, providing information and assistance with halachic issues connected to fertility. Women and couples experiencing fertility challenges are invited to set up a personal meeting with a Yoetzet Halacha Fertility Counselor. For more information, contact us at [email protected], or via WhatsApp at 97226404330, or fill out the form here. The service is free of charge.

The Fertility Counselors are experienced Yoatzot Halacha who completed an advanced course offered in conjunction with the Gefen Fertility organization, headed by Dr. Karen Friedman, and with medical guidance from Fertility Specialist Dr. Jordana Hyman. Twenty Yoatzot Halacha Fertility Counselors were certified in 2018.

Course faculty included top medical professionals from Israeli fertility clinics, experienced psychologists in the fertility field, Nishmat’s Rabbi Yaakov Warhaftig and other expert Rabbis. The course combined comprehensive and in-depth study with workshops addressing the medical, psychological and Halachic aspects of fertility challenges.  The Yoatzot listened to first-hand accounts of complex dilemmas that couples with fertility challenges face. They also learned about the developing technologies in the field as well as strategies to address issues at the junction of halacha, fertility and marriage.
