Refresher Course

12 January, 2007

Question:

Shalom Aleichem Nashim Tzidkoniyot…

Allow me to please thank you for providing Jewish women worldwide online access to the complicated halachot of niddah and taharas mishpacha. Your web site is an essential and necessary service that has benefited so many women in so many ways.

Tizku L’Mitzvos…

Thank you…

I am inquiring as to the possibility of registering for the “Kallah Companion” online sessions as a refresher course due to the importance of the upcoming 6 weeks known as “shovevim” (an acronym for each sedra) as it is befitting this time to improve and review one’s knowledge of taharas mishpacha and related issues.

Thank you for your time, concern, and effort in this matter.

Answer:

Thank you so much for your compliments.

Kallah Companion is designed primarily for kallot and kallah teachers. We offer another course, Marriage Companion, as a refresher for married women and couples. Marriage Companion includes all of the halachic material in Kallah Companion except for the “Just for Kallot” unit which covers halachot relevant only to brides. It also includes lessons on women’s health and the reproductive life cycle as they interact with taharat hamishpacha.

We also offer similar courses in French and Spanish.

All four courses are free of charge. The courses in English require registration; those in French and Spanish are publicly accessible.

We look forward to learning with you!
