Sleeping without underwear

Question:

Is it permissible (re kesamim) to sleep without wearing underwear on colored or patterned sheets? I've never had a problem with kesamim and have been feeling very sweaty lately. I think this might help.

Answer:

When a woman is tehorah, she can sleep without underwear on any color sheet. You are correct that white sheets would not be recommended so as to avoid any ketamim problems. There is no requirement to look for ketamim.

During the seven clean days, a woman wearing no underwear to bed is required to sleep on white sheets (or to wear a white bottom, like pajama shorts or pants).
