Nine boys, no girls

9 February, 2010

Question:

Shalom,
Thank you for this wonderful site.
I just wanted to respond to the question "trying for a girl" : I have 7 boys aged 11 to 2 and I am expecting twin boys in June. I also badly wanted a girl and tried all possible methods and positions and stuff. Nothing. But I think that children are Hashem's blessing and they belong to Him, not us, so we should receive them as a gift…and we do not usually "command" a true gift.
kol tov

Answer:

We appreciate very much your sharing these thoughts with us.  Your positive attitude can only be a blessing to you and your children, present and future.

BeSha'ah Tovah!
