“I love you”

Question:

Is it ok to say "I love you" towards the end of a phone conversation with my husband while I am niddah?


Answer:

Although this question has generated some debate, saying "I love you" is generally permitted while in niddah, so long as it is said more in a generally affectionate manner than a sexually suggestive one. 

In other words, "I love you" said as you describe, as a usual telephone sign off, would be permitted.
