Light staining

17 April, 2014

Question:

I just want to make sure – if I stain and a black pantiliner is enough, then I am not a nidda? I see blood only on colored underwear or on a pantiliner.

Is it a problem if I feel a little blood coming out?

Answer:

Staining that is easily addressed by a pantiliner, and is seen only on colored surfaces, generally does not make a woman niddah.

The feeling of external dampness is not considered a hargashah. We follow the halachic position that the sensation of blood exiting the body is also not halachically defined as a hargashah.
