Frequent sensation of discharge

16 April, 2016

I saw many questions on the possibility of Hargasha on your site, but am still a bit unclear on a hargasha and its nature. I often will have a feeling of discharge coming out of my vagina – this is a feeling I have had long before I was married. It is nothing dramatic, almost as if a little urine passes through. Would a feeling like this be considered a hargasha? Again, it is nothing drastic and my body definitely does not shake, I do not think my uterus opens (although I am not entirely sure what this means) but I guess I to some extent feel wetness exiting; even if sometimes there is no discharge found on my underwear. I think this is the normal sensation women experience as you explained on previous posts, I just wanted to check.

Non-niddah discharge is common throughout the cycle.

The feeling of external dampness is not considered a hargashah. We follow the halachic position that the sensation of liquid exiting the body is also not halachically defined as a hargashah.
