Light brown stain on thigh
30 June, 2019
Question:Hi, I am six weeks pregnant, and have been experiencing some spotting. My doctor said it’s normal so long as there is no sharp pain or a heavy flow. To avoid any issues I’ve been wearing colored underwear, but this morning I saw some of the discharge on my inner thigh––it was caramel colored. I’m not exactly sure what to do, since I know I don’t have a flow, but I did see the stain on my body (it was larger than a gris). Please advise on this matter, I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks!
Answer:Be-sha’ah tovah!
A light brown with no hint of a reddish tint is not a niddah color. It does not make a woman niddah even when found on the inner thigh. That seems to be consistent with the color you describe, so no further steps need be taken.
