Accessibility Statement – Nishmat’s Yoatzot Halacha Website


This accessibility statement is for the English Yoatzot Halacha Websites at yoatzot.org.

 

We see great importance in making our website and content accessible to the general public in the belief that we provide service and information for the general public regardless of the abilities or needs of the person using our service. We make efforts to make all the information accessible and to adapt it to the various needs of the people browsing our website.

1. Links in the website content appear in a different font color.

2. The site is optimized for viewing in all browsers.

3. The various files on the site appear as PDF files that make it easier to enlarge and read the texts.

4. In most of the videos there are subtitles that allow you to enjoy the content of the video even in the case of hearing impairment.

5. In the upper left part of the screen there is an accessibility menu (within this icon).

6. The accessibility menu includes adjustments of functional, graphic and textual elements for the benefit of surfers:

B. Canceling animations and flickering on the screen

C. Creating a contrast between the website background and the text

D. Selection to enlarge or record the text

E. Making the fonts on the site a readable and comfortable font

F. Marking titles and creating clear hierarchies

G. Prominent marking of links and buttons
