Question

I learned that it’s prohibited to shower at the mikveh following immersion. But, given the Coronavirus situation, I’d rather not wait until I get home to shower off. Would that be permissible?

Answer

The chlorine in the mikveh pool provides effective protection against the virus, and a shower after immersion is unlikely to have any effect on Coronavirus infection. Since showering at the mikveh would not create any health benefit, the halacha against it remains in full force.
