Question

I just gave birth to baby number 4, ten days ago.
This baby was conceived with a copper IUD in place. The IUD didn't come out during or after birth.
I am struggling to find a contraception option, I do not want a hormonal method.
I've read about natural family planning but can it work with mikvah dates etc?

This method is complex and we recommend that women who are seriously considering relying on FAM should learn about it from a qualified teacher.

In the meantime, we suggest speaking to your doctor about using a diaphragm. When used properly with spermicide it is highly effective. Furthermore, by using a diaphragm together with the Fertility Awareness Method you can increase the effectivity even further.
