Mother and son: niddah restrictions?
January 13, 2005

Question

My son was just bar mitzvah. Is he allowed to touch me during my 7 white days? Am I allowed to tuck him in and still kiss him at bed? Do I follow niddah laws for him too?

Answer

Mazel tov!

There are no niddah-related restrictions on the parent-child relationship, including kissing on the cheek and touching.
