Question

I'm using mikvahcalendar.com to keep track of my cycles.
Last Thursday was my onah beinonit. I did a bedika in the late afternoon, which was red so I declared myself niddah.
I did not have any sort of actual flow until later that night. I know I can attempt a hefsek on day 5 from declaring myself niddah (today), but do I count my vestot next month as if my red bedikah was day 1 of my flow, or do I have to modify?

Common practice when a woman has a stained bedikah, even one that comes shortly before a flow, is to calculate vesatot only based on the onset of flow. However, this case is slightly different, because your bedikah was on the onah beinonit.

For this coming cycle, you should observe vesatot based on both onot. In practice, on the website you can enter the onset of flow (Thursday night) as your veset and then just keep in mind to perform a bedikah and refrain from relations during the daytime before the regula veset.
