Can we stop keeping veset of Or Zarua?

Question

I have been keeping the veset of Ohr Zarua for over thirteen years, was taught it as standard practice, never knowingly accepted it as a personal chumra, and now wish to discontinue it. Is hataras nedarim required? Life has been tough lately, and I cannot handle another limitation on filling my emotional cup. I'm also upset that this was taught as halacha instead of chumra. Thanks!
