Question

I’m due to go to the mikvah on motzei Shabbos. I have been making the first appointments out of concern for covid. Whenever I go on motzei Shabbos, I prepare fully on erev Shabbos and then take a shorter bath on motzei Shabbos. I will not have time to take a shorter bath and be the first appointment. Can I take a quick shower at home right when Shabbos ends and then go to the mikvah?

Answer

Yes. If you do your preparations thoroughly on erev Shabbat, after Shabbat is over you may shower, comb your hair, brush and floss your teeth, and check your body for any chatzitzot before immersing.
