I learned that when I'm niddah I'm not allowed to make my husband's bed unless it's just part of housework/tidying. So I do make his bed but I have to admit that I do it as an expression of affection to him as he likes it ready for him with the pillow all plumped up etc. Is this ok?

Making your husband's bed (even if done in affectionate manner) is permitted as long it is not done in his presence.
