Walking to mikveh with blister

Question

Am I allowed to go to the mikvah if I have a blister? When left alone it does not bleed, but when walking (even in comfortable shoes) it leaves a slight residue on my sock. I would be going to the mikvah on a Friday night so would need to prep and then walk, which will most likely irritate the blister again.

A blister is not considered a barrier to immersion because it is a part of the body. Even wet blood or fluid from the blister is not considered a barrier to immersion. You should, however, be careful to clean the area well during your preparations and to rinse it off again prior to immersion.
