Question

Does one need to wear white underwear until shkiah of the 7th day? For example, I am preparing for mikvah on Friday afternoon and am done with the preparations about an hour before candle lighting. Do I need to still put on white underwear and then later change to black?

Answer

It is preferable to wear white underwear throughout the& seventh clean day up until immersion.

If immersion is delayed, a woman may switch to colored undergarments after nightfall of the seventh day.
