Condoms for semen collection
December 25, 2013

Question

I understand that there is a special type of condom that can be used to gather semen for a sperm check for fertility purposes. Where do I purchase this?

Thank you.

Answer

A condom used for semen collection should be sterile, non-lubricated, and without spermicide. Such condoms should be available from the fertility specialist who is treating you. If they are not, then you can purchase them online (e.g., Amazon) or, in Israel, though Nishmat.
