Red crumbs on pregnancy test
August 11, 2016

Question

I did a pregnancy test and urinated into a cup and then put the stick in. I did not see any blood in the urine. When I looked a while later at the pregnancy test and took the cap off, there was a bit of red crumbs around the area of the urine. Does this have any consequence?

Answer

You may disregard the red crumbs that you found. Since they were not apparent when you first looked at the urine, we assume they came from elsewhere after you did the test.
