Clean day count confusion
19/04/2020

Question

I did my hefsek on Thursday and am counting my 7 clean days. I did my bedikot on clean day 1 (Friday) and everything was going as usual. I kept in mind when my mikvah night will be, on Thursday night. But, for some reason on what was my clean day 2, which was Shabbos, I was thinking it was clean day 3. Then on Sunday when I was about to do my bedikah in the morning, I was thinking it was clean day 4, and then I realized that I was counting wrong and it is really clean day 3. I never lost track of the fact that my mikvah night will be Thursday, even though I started counting wrong. Is my shivah nekiim still valid?

Answer

Yes, your clean days are still valid. Even though you lost track of which clean day it was, you still knew you were in your clean days and they were not interrupted.
