Combing underarm hair

Question

Why do I need to comb my underarm hair? I keep that hair short & have never found a knot in it. If anything I may be introducing dandruff from my head. Why am I combing it, aside from because that's what I was taught?

Answer

It is not necessary to comb your underarm hair with a comb – it is sufficient to run through it with your fingers to make sure there aren't any knots. If the hair is really short and it would be impossible to have knots there, there is no need to comb it at all.
