Waxing before Tisha B’Av

Question

It looks like my mikva night will fall out on Tisha B'av, so I guess I will go Motzei Tisha B'av.

Can I wax my eyebrows⁄upper lip before Tisha B'av (like on 7 Av)? The waxing place will be closed after the fast before I immerse.

Answer

This is subject to debate. If you are not makpid (particular) to always get them waxed before immersion, it is best to delay the waxing until after Tisha B'Av. (Ideally you should wait a couple of days after immersion to have it done.) If this is something you are makpid on, you may get them waxed before Tisha B'Av.
