Red threads on bedikot – from towels?

Question

Sometimes I get these tiny tiny tiny red strings on my bedikah cloths and underwear. I'm not really sure what they are but I do have red towels in my bathroom. What should I consider them on my bedikah cloths?

Answer

If you can remove the strings from the bedikah cloth and they don't leave behind any residue, then you may disregard them. This is especially true if you have a possible explanation of their origin (the red towels).
