Does one need to wear white underwear until shkiah of the 7th day? For example, I am preparing for mikvah on Friday afternoon and am done with the preparations about an hour before candle lighting. Do I need to still put on white underwear and then later change to black?

It is preferable to wear white underwear throughout the seventh clean day up until immersion.
If immersion is delayed, a woman may switch to colored undergarments after nightfall of the seventh day.
