I had an IUD inserted about 6 weeks ago, at my 6 week postpartum check–up. It caused me to have heavy bleeding for the first few weeks, then it slowed to spotting and thankfully, I was able to get to the mikvah a few nights ago after being nidah for almost three months.

I'm still spotting but I'm able to contain it with a pantiliner; however, today, the spotting became a bit heavier and I'm unsure how to continue with this. I understand that if I need to wear a pad, as opposed to a pantiliner, then I would be nidah. I'm able to wear a pantiliner (although I do change it every so often), but I also noticed that this heavier spotting isn't red. It's more brownish with a reddish or pinkish tinge, sometimes containing green or yellow. (I apologize for being so graphic.) Can I disregard it as discharge? I've never had bleeding/spotting this color, and I don't know what to think of it. I definitely don't want to be nidah again since I was in nidah for so long. Any advice would be appreciated.
