Blood in toilet during clean days
April 8, 2016

Question

I had a baby and stopped all bleeding two weeks later. Then I waited two weeks for health and started counting. Everything was clear until day five, when I noticed a drop of blood in the toilet water. I didn't look at the tissues. The rest of the day my underwear is totally clear.

Answer

Mazal tov on the birth of your baby!

Blood seen in the toilet water can generally be treated as a stain on a surface not susceptible to stains, and therefore does not invalidate the clean days.

If we understand you correctly, you saw no other blood or staining. So, based on what you write, your clean days continue as planned.

Please write back with any further questions.
