There may be a possibility of treating this
moch leniently, but that depends on having it
evaluated. Be sure to mention your concerns about conception when you have it evaluated.
If you find that you frequently have a successful
hefsek taharah, only to discover something tiny invalidating your
moch dachuk, then you may omit the
moch dachuk for the duration of your attempts to conceive.
For the next couple of months, you may also find it helpful to use ovulation predictor urine tests (available over the counter in pharmacies) in order to pinpoint the timing of your ovulation. If you remain concerned about the possibility of ovulating prior to mikveh, please see our article on
ovulating before immersion and please don’t hesitate to be in touch with any further questions.
You may also find it helpful to consult a Yoetzet Halacha Fertility Counselor. (This is a free service, details
here.)
