Vaginal cyst removal

Question

Hello,

Thank you for this web-site. It makes me want to learn much more and join your team of such amazing women!!!!

My question is the following. I had a baby 8 weeks ago and although I had a c-section I think this gave me a vaginal cyst (I have multi-polycystic ovaries. I do not know if one has to do with the other.)

Anyway, the vaginal cyst prevents me from having intercourse, it makes it awfully painful. This is why even though it is very small, I want to have it extracted. Will the bleeding make me niddah? It will clearly not be uterine blood.

Thanks for your answer.

Answer

Thank you for your kind words.

It sounds as if you have already immersed after the birth of your baby. The procedure to remove the cyst will not make you niddah because the bleeding originates from the vagina, not the uterus.

This procedure could make it hard to get clean bedikot for a while after surgery. If you have not resumed menstruating since giving birth, this should not be a problem for you.
