There is no minimum or maximum. Some couples are satisfied with once a week. Others less frequently, others more frequently. Each couple has to find the right balance for them. Either spouse may initiate intimacy. It is really important to talk to each other and try to be open with each other about intimacy, especially in the beginning of marriage.
