Does a medical device inserted in the body constitute a chatzitza? The specific device would be a ureteral stent to help pass a kidney stone.

Answer

Since the stent is inserted completely inside your body, it does not block any of the mikveh waters from reaching your body and it is not considered a chatzitzah.
