Mikveh postponed a few weeks
May 17, 2016

Question

I was supposed to go to the mikvah a couple of weeks ago, but had to postpone because there was no mikvah available at that time. I want to schedule a mikvah visit now that I have access to a mikvah, but would like to know if I have to recount my seven clean days. I have not bled at all since I originally needed to go. Is there anything I need to do before going?

Answer

As long as you completed the clean days (with the required bedikot) and you haven’t experienced any bleeding in the interim, you may immerse at the first available opportunity. There are no additional requirements (such as additional bedikot). You should prepare normally for immersion.
