Prolapsed uterus, cervical irritation
April 25, 2018

Question

I have some bleeding due to a prolapsed uterus that irritates the cervix. Does this render me a niddah? I am post menopausal.

Answer

If you have medical confirmation that the bleeding is cervical, from irritation, then it is considered dam makkah. Dam makkah does not make a woman niddah.
If the irritation is bothering you, you may wish to consult your healthcare provider about treatment options.
