Mikveh on Shabbat of Tisha B’Av

Question

Is there problem with going to the mikvah next Friday? It is technically the night of Tisha B'av, but since it's Shabbat, the fast is delayed. Should one wait and go on Sunday night?

Answer

There is no need to wait until Sunday. When Tisha B'Av coincides with Shabbat, and the fast is moved to Sunday, a woman may immerse on Friday night. Marital relations are also permitted, since it is mikveh night.
