Lubricant on Pesach

Question

I am menopausal and need lubrication help to have relations. My husband and I use an item called Astroglide. Can we use this on Passover? It contains glycol.

If not, can you suggest a personal lubricant that can be used on Passover?

Answer

Since personal lubricants are not ingested and are inedible, they do not require certification. You may use Astroglide on Passover.

Flavored lubricants should be avoided even if there is no intention to ingest them.
