There is debate regarding a woman's removing facial and body hair for aesthetic reasons during the Three Weeks. Rav Moshe Feinstein permitted shaving legs throughout this time period, and rulings regarding facial hair are usually lenient. Our Rabbinic Supervisor, Rav Kenneth Auman, follows the view that a woman may remove facial hair if she would uncomfortable not being able to do so (e.g., if she finds it embarrassing or feels it makes her look unattractive).
